A first for me...

Wow...3 posts in one month...must be a record...lol. Anyway... I finally took a little time Saturday and played with my new Unity Stamps, my Prisma Colored Pencils and my OMS or as some people call it Gamsol. This was sooo much fun! I can see myself getting hooked on stamping and my Prisma pencils. Again, doing the color challenge for Scrapbookingcraftingfriends I had to create a card or layout using red, yellow and orange...my brain was yelling...aaacckkk color overload!!! But as I started digging through my paper stash I discovered this was not a hard color combo, matter of fact, the album I just finished for a gal had alot of these same colors in the paper pack that she picked out for her album. I decided when I had finished the "ice cream cone" to make this into a card for my dad for Father's day...he does love ice cream and he really is "the cherry on top!" I layered the cone using my "Nesties" and the cone and cherry on top are highlighted with a Copic glitter pen. The paper is "The Glitter Stack" from DCWV. All that was needed was a little ribbon and the gift card inside!! :) Let me know what you think.
