Where have I been...?? and Merry Christmas!!

I apologize for being AWOL again, but I have been up to my eyeballs...so to speak. To catch you up...we had a wonderful mini vacation to Blairsville, Ga. the end of October. The color in the North GA mountains was absolutely breathtaking! We had a wonderful time visiting with family and sight-seeing. We got back home the 29th and settled back in here. Halloween evening my daughter Cristy and her hubby took Seth and Sion trick-or-treating at their other grandma's home. When they were in the process of leaving, Cristy stepped and fell in a newly dug up flower bed as she was trying to catch Seth who was jumping off of the steps. She turned her ankle when she fell and Seth's 53 lbs on top of her broke her ankle...BAD!! Every bone...The doctor said that she only see's this kind of ankle injury when people fall from roofs or from auto accidents. So after surgery, 9 screws and 1 plate later, she is s-l-o-w-l-y healing. I quickly became chief cook, bottle washer and babysitter (mama sitter too when Michael is at work). She is now able to put some weight on it, which means no more crutches, wheel chairs and her crawling on the floor to get around. She starts PT after Christmas. Doctor said she might be able to go back to work in February. And on top of all of that I have been working on 3 album orders that I finally finished up Dec 23rd. Folks...I'm tired...!
Anyway I wanted to share some of what I have managed to get done since the end of October.

In the middle of all that was going on I did manage a few swaps. Here is a card and an ATC I did for 2 swaps.
The orange mesh behind the embossed pumpkins is from an onion bag...cool, huh?

I wish all of you Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!! 2010 is going to be a great year!!!

Well I am going to run and enjoy the quietness that is currently in my home right now....think I'll take a nap!
