Catching up, and new layout...

I finally start working on Sion's book. Scrapbooking can be a wonderful diversion to get your mind off of what is going on around you, if only for a couple of hours. Sion loves his book and loves to push the buttons on the embellishments on 2 of the pages...they light up. I've only completed a couple of pages, but hey...it's a start!! Hope to get it near completion before he wears the batteries out in the embellishments!! LOL On this layout I used a sketch from Let's Scrap a new .ning group that I found. You need to check them out, lot's of great sketches and layouts from the sketches. I like that, you see the sketch and then see many interpretations of that sketch from different people.

I am so saddende to hear what happened to your grandparents. So nice to hear they are healing and gianing strength. At least the young man on the 3 wheeler was a good soul, adn made the call, adn sat with them until help arrived. I love the scenty burners, SOO cute. My husband works for a small local company, and guess what they make? the scents that go into scentsy's products... they are the company that keeps my hubby working crazy overtime... keep selling, i need him to work all those extra hours!

Cindy, I am so sorry about your parents. My daughter was the victim of a violent crime a couple of years ago...it it heartbreaking for everyone connected to it. My prayers are with you and your family. Your scrapping pages are the best! Glad you have this to divert you!

What a horrible story! I know there are really good people out there who are the victim of other people's problems. I'm glad this young man is being punished for his actions. The problem is that he'll probably still be able to get drugs in jail. I will pray that he doesn't.
