Pink Zebra New Fall Catalog, Fragrances and an update

Hello Everyone!! Can you believe that summer is almost over?? Me neither...but I am so ready for some cooler temps and all of this rain to stop. We have had a wet summer, starting with Tropical Storm Debby that dumped 18-20 inches of rain in our area...can you say WET!! We lost bridges, roads and there are still houses that are underwater from flooding....sad. It is raining today and more forecasted for the rest of the week, so it will be a "catch-up-with-stuff-that-needs-to-be-done" week for me. First project is my blog...

Well School started yesterday around here for the kiddo's and 2 of my 3 grands headed to school this year. Seth is going into 1st grade and Sion started Pre-K. They both were up and ready to go...Sion was really excited...Seth not so much...lol. Ya know...he is an old pro at this school stuff. They both came home yesterday talking about new friends and Sion said that he was definitely going back today...Seth...well, not so sure...remember he KNOWS about this school stuff.
Whlie the bubba's were in school, mama and daddy took Miss Scarlett who is now 15 months old shopping to get some much needed clothes...you can tell by the look on her face that she wasn't a happy camper about this. Oh dear...a girl that doesn't like shopping?? You think this will change?? LOL
She is finally growing now...(the reason for the shopping trip) she had such a bout with awful reflux until she was 12 months old. She stayed below the "national averages" for height and weight up until her doctor's appt. last week. She has FINALLY caught up!!! She still looks tiny to me, but it sure hasn't slowed her down one bit!!

I had the privilege of attending Pink Zebra's very first Family Reunion (Convention) the first weekend of August. It was fun finally meeting some of my "sisters" and "crazy cousins" that I have only been able to talk to on the phone. Also met the owners, Tom and Kelly Gaines...amazing people...and the wonderful office staff. I am sooo proud to be part of this company and their awesome vision and amazing products. We were treated to 3 fun-filled days at the Omni on beautiful Amelia Island here in Florida. Oh, did I mention that I got to go for free?? Yep...earned my trip for free as a new Manager. Love it! We got to see our new fall line while we were there. Pink Zebra has out-done themselves!! WE have such an awesome Fall line. If you want a catalog and some samples...(Oh you just have got to smell the Pumpkin Bread and Oatmeal Raisin Cookie AND the Aspen Pine Sprinkles!!) just shoot me an email to cindy@sprinklespz.com and I will get a packet in the mail to you. We are still very new and looking for consultants for your area!! I would love to have you on my Dream Team, so if you would like info on that too, just email me. You can also keep up with what's new and going on by "liking" my Facebook fan page here. Here are a few pics of our new fall line.

Here is a pic of some of our new fall warmers...They are so nice and that pumpkin and turkey are too cute!!!
We also have Diffuser Decor now for our reed diffusers. Love these!!!
Visit my website here for more pics and info.
We also have a new promotion that started August 1st and runs through Feb 28, 2013. Want to win a free trip to Cancun??? Join my team! Message me for the details. Here is Septembers Promotion...of course these are two of my favorite fragrances that they will have on sale. Check them out!!
Well hubby just called and I have to run an errand for him...so much for staying home today...but at least I did get my blog updated. Don't forget to stop by my Facebook Fan page here
and look around.

I will talk to you soon!

Making a memory...

OK...we are in Tropical Storm Debby's path...it is raining...lot's...6 inches now, so far...yes, we are wet! I've got a question for you...When is the last time you played in the rain with your kids or in my case grandkids??? I was walking Sion my 4 yo grandson back to his house and yes through massive puddles in the yard...it looks like lake front property...anyway, he spots some earthworms in the water puddles..."On Na-na, they will drown", so guess what we did...yup...we rescued swimming earthworms. Lot's of them. They are now safely tucked in my garden that is still above sea level...not sure for how long. Oh did I mention while doing all of this another band or rain came...and dumped on us hard...yes...we were soaked...Making a memory!! Love being able to be home and do this with my grandkids...Thank you Pink Zebra!!

Updates...and oh yea...Anyone Love Freebies??

As most of you know, I am with a new company called Pink Zebra Home. It's really fun introducing all of our brand new goodies to other folks.

I have been with Facebook for a while now...probably 5 or 6 years. I was with Facebook before Facebook was cool...lol...well now I have a new Facebook fan page here. I am working on building my fan base so this is what I am going to do. Stop by my fan page here . "Like" my page and leave me a comment that you have and I will enter your name in a drawing that I am having next Friday March 20th for a free jar of our wonderful Sprinkles!! You can also get your name in the drawing more than once by telling your friends to visit my page and "like" it and leave a comment telling me who sent them. Easy peasy? Easy Peasy!!

My grandbabies are really getting big...Na-na is not too sure she likes that. Anyway, I sat everyone down for a pic the other day. Just as I got ready to snap it, Be-pa (sitting to the right of them) said look at Na-na just about the time that I got ready to take the pic...well all three of them looked at him and this is what I got...lol
But...I didn't t give up!!! Okay, let's try this again...This time...Be-pa...shhhhh...
Okay...everyone look at Na-Naaaaaaaaaa!!!! (Rather loudly...)
Almost perfect...I'll take it!! Whew...even Jasper cooperated. I have a whole new respect for professional photographers!!

I have been jamming just a bit, well yes of course I am way behind, but I am catching up. Hoping to "jam" the post office next week with lots of envelopes full of jams on their way to their next stop! Here are some that have been finished up...my collection is really growing. Now I have to find a way to display all of these little works of art.

Well I have to run for now. Got lots to do. I will share more later. Don't forget to stop by my Facebook fan page here for a chance to win those Sprinkles! You can also visit my website here to see which scent you would like to have.

It's me again....

Well...where did the last 6 months go??? Can you believe that it is already Thanksgiving and Christmas time?? Like I said...where did the last 6 months go???!

Well, I know where part of it went. In my last post I introduced you to my new granddaughter Scarlett. She will be 7 months old the first week of December. I have been enjoying her and the boys very much and not much else is getting done.Did you notice the bling on her little ears?? LOL

Seth the oldest loves his lil sis...Sion isn't so sure...I could not get a good pic of the two boys last year at Christmas, and now I can see 3 will be just about impossible...lol
Seth started kindergarten in August. Oh, I still don't know how that happened! He was so excited! Here are a couple of pics of the first day. He rode the bus...and absolutely loved it...still does. And he made it home just fine...phew...nana worried about him all day...Look at that smile!
Anyway, I did get a little crafting done.

Here are some ATC's that I made for a swap with the Friends_That_Scrap Yahoo group.
I am still jamming with an ATC Jam group...I absolutely love doing these.
I also got some cards made and did a layout for a challenge. The layout is one of Seth when he was 2...he managed to get into a whole stick of butter...a lot went in him...a lot went ON him...
Well that is all for now...I've got more ATC Jams to share, but I have got to get pics first.

Have a great Thanksgiving and I' will talk with you soon!

She is finally here....

After what seems like an eternity, my new granddaughter Scarlett Grace made a quite easily entrance into the world on May 2nd. She weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. and was 19 3/4" long. Mama had quite an ordeal getting her here. Because of blood pressure problems my daughter was hospitalized over 4 weeks before Scarlett was born. Daddy works 24 hour shifts, goes to school and has clinicals to do, so Na-na (that's me) took care of the boys, who are 3 and 5 and FULL of energy...Na-na is not! I had little time to do anything else. I now know why God give us our babies when we are young! I also have a whole new respect for those grandma's out there that are raising their grandchildren for what ever the reason may be. They are also in my prayers!

Sion the 3 year old is not sure what to think about his new little sister. Seth on the other hand absolutely LOVES his little sister. He will sit and hold her on the couch for long periods of time. He talks to her and sings to her.

I have had little time to do any scrapbooking over the last couple of months. Before my daughter ended up in the hospital, I did participate in an ATC Scripture swap and recipe card swap in my Friends That Scrap yahoo group. The topic for the ATC swap was "honey".

I also wanted to share with you some more of my "Jams" that I have participated in over the last couple of months. This is from another one of my yahoo groups called ATC Jams Galore...I absolutely love doing these! I haven't "jammed" in a while, so I am anxious to get back to to it!

Well, thanks for stopping by. Hopefully I will have some more soon to share with you as things settle back down around here.

It's almost February....

and yes I know, it has been a while since I posted and I do apologize. I started a part-time job at my local Post Office the end of September and with all the training (never knew so much was involved in moving a mail piece from point A to point B!) and the holidays, I was just about working full-time...Yikes!!! I fill in for the Post Master when she is off. Now that we have the holidays behind us it is slowing down just a bit and I am finally on my 2 day a week schedule which I am liking pretty well. Now I can get back to what I like doing best...playing with paper and ink...lol

Christmas came and went pretty quickly around here. But I did manage to snap a few pics...or tried to...of my grandsons.

First attempt...
(Seth) but Na-na...I don't want to take a picture...
(Sion) C-H-E-E-S-E!!!

Take 2...
(Seth) Wait Na-na...I want you to take a picture of my new Bakugons...
(Sion) Bubba what you doing??...notice the little fingers poking through my crochet tablecloth...
and finally...

Take 3...(Both) C-H-E-E-S-E!!!

Ok, this will have to do....LOL Just think...next year there will be 3 to try to get together for pics ...yes we will have a little girl arriving some time around the end of April, first of May.

I have been busy this month with a new Yahoo Group called "Friends That Scrap". Lot's of great gals here and lot's of things going on. Definitely a lot of chatting going on, but we also have swaps, PIF's, games and a lot of chatting going on...oh wait...I said that...

Right now I am working on ATC swaps and an ongoing recipe swap. Just finished up my recipes. This months theme was "Chocolate"...so I chose Oreo Truffles. If you have never tried these, do yourself a favor and run to the store right NOW and pick up the ingredients...you will not be sorry!! I used my Cricut Expression and my "From my Kitchen" cartridge to cut out the little mixer. The pattern paper is some from my stash from the Cookbookin' line and the cardstock is Bazzill that I picked up at Big Lots 25 sheets for $5 bucks! Lot's of great colors in this stack.
We also had our very first ATC swap. If you are not familiar with ATC's, they are like Baseball Cards for Artists. There are only 2 rules with ATC's...1) they must be 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 and 2) they must not be sold...only traded. Each one is a little masterpiece. These little guys are VERY addictive. I have been collecting and trading now for about 2 years and I have almost 150. I love each and every one. Most swaps are themed, but our first one was an "anything goes" theme.
We are taking sign-ups now for our next one in February...theme is "Sunshine"...maybe that will help to warm our cold toes!!

I have also discovered ATC Jam's and I am absolutely having a blast with these. What is a Jam you ask...let me tell you. " JAMS are where one person begins by preparing three (3) identical backgrounds and sends to person #2. Person #2 adds something (same thing to each card) and sends to person #3. Person #3 adds something (same thing to each card). The set is now complete. Person #3 keeps one card and mails the other two cards to Person #1, who in turn will mail one card to person #2. This completes the JAM." (Explanation comes from the welcome page of another Yahoo Group called "ATC Jams Galore"). I joined this group about 3 months ago and I have been a jammin'. Here is a photo of some of the completed jams that I have worked on. I've worked on several more in the #1 and #2 position and am patiently (not) waiting on them to come home so I can see how they turned out!
In the midst of all the December craziness I made a Christmas gift for my mom of note cards. The stamps are from Our Daily Bread Designs...great site! The insides are blank so my mom has lots of room to write in them. I got the directions for the box from Splitcoast Stampers in their resource section.

And last but not least a quickie ATC that I made using some left over scraps from the Mariposa line. Gold stickles and Skittles finish it off.

Sorry for the long post, I will do better next time...lol. Thanks for stopping by!

I've got to run, the grand's will be here shortly and I will get nothing done after that...

Talk to you later...
